I can't imagine that I would do anything else but conduct research in the lab. However, I know that at some point in my career, I may be ready for a change. In order to be prepared to take advantage of a good opportunity, I need to do something now. I am taking advanatge of paid management training, on my own timetable and terms, so that I will have the required skills and training to move into a managment or leadership position with my employer.
