Previously he ran Home Care R&D, directing development of Green Works natural cleaners, which launched in 2008 and tripled the natural cleaners category size while becoming the top brand.
Prior to Clorox, Gilicinski led R&D in personal care and battery technologies for 5 years at The Gillette Company, delivering key technologies for several product launches. His career began at Air Products and Chemicals in Allentown, PA, developing environmentally friendly coatings technologies in several Corporate R&D and Chemicals assignments.
Gilicinski earned a BS in chemistry from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana and a PhD in analytical chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has authored over 50 patents and scientific publications. Gilicinski chairs the American Chemical Society’s Committee on Patents and Related Matters and Iowa State University’s Industrial Advisory Board.
